Areas of Expertise:
I work within all of our service lines in the EHS Auditing and Compliance Practice (Air, Water, Spill, Audits, and Waste), and am the Service Line Leader for the Waste and Materials Management Service Line which includes our EPCRA (Tier II/TRI) and Hazardous Waste work.
About Me in 140 Characters:
A Jersey girl who now lives in Charlotte, NC with my fiancé, currently 6 cats, and our dog.
What is your favorite thing about being an EHS Auditing and Compliance practitioner:
The variety – I work on something different every day. Antea Group has given me the opportunity to learn a variety of skillsets related to environmental compliance.
If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
NY/NJ-style pizza. I always need to eat some when I go home to NJ.
What is the most interesting project you’ve ever worked on?
My most interesting project was probably when I earned the nickname of “Tier II Help Desk.” I supported a national client that was changing how they submitted their Tier II’s. I gave multiple webinar trainings to their employees and operated a Tier II Help desk in case the facilities had any questions on their Tier II submissions. Tier II Reporting varies by state and local requirements, so I had to be able to quickly answer each facility’s questions about what was reportable, how to report it, who to report to, and if there was a fee based on where they were located.
If you had one month off, where would you go, or what would you do?
I’m a homebody, so I’d primarily stay at home with my animals and fiancé, but I would also visit my family in NJ as part of it.
What is your key ingredient for success?
Being able to multi-task. I am typically working on a variety of projects at the same time for different service lines.
If someone at a party asks what you do, how do you respond?
I work for an environmental, health, safety, and sustainability consulting company. We help our clients stay in compliance with the regulations.
What was your first job?
I was a waitress for a local Pizza Hut restaurant. I worked there for over 5 years (high school – college). Those tips helped pay for my first new car.
