St. Paul, Minnesota, March 30, 2022: Antea Group USA announced today the formation of a Strategic Advisory Board, comprised of leaders across multiple business sectors and applied academia. The purpose of the Strategic Advisory Board is to help proactively track and assess global trends of importance to Antea Group and its clients, as well as act as an incubator of innovation to help drive business strategy.

Building upon decades of client successes in the areas of environment, health, safety, and sustainability, Antea Group USA recently launched an ESG Advisory Services offering focused on materiality assessments, goal setting, strategic roadmaps, and disclosures to address global and local ESG challenges. The inaugural members of the Strategic Advisory Board were carefully selected, based on their wide diversity of expertise, personal passions, as well as their broad recognition within the US and internationally:
Dan Bena
Former Sustainability Executive and Corporate Water Steward, PepsiCo
Dan is an award-winning ESG/Purpose executive, and former Head of Sustainable Development, Health and Safety, and Corporate Water Steward for PepsiCo. He is an Honorary Professor for Glasgow Caledonian University, and is a Board Trustee of New York College, which houses the Center for Social Impact and Innovation. He also serves as Senior Advisor to Paul Newman’s Safe Water Network and has served on multiple other leadership and advisory committees including: World Business Council for Sustainable Development; World Bank’s 2030 Water Resources Group; United Nations CEO Mandate; Global Agenda Council on Water Security of the World Economic Forum; US Water Alliance; Conrad Foundation; Creative Visions Foundation; and WaterLoop, among others.
Erik Foley
Director, Center for the Business of Sustainability and Instructor of Management and Organization at Penn State Smeal College of Business
In his current role at Penn State, Erick works to accelerate the integration of sustainability in business which is done through a community of scholars, educators, students, and industry partners. He serves on Smeal's Diversity Taskforce and is part of the college's Management Committee. Specific areas of focus include social entrepreneurship, sustainability strategy, and change leadership. Erick also serves on the Board of Directors for ClearWater Conservancy, Network for Business Sustainability, Sustainability Centres Committee, and the Centre County Solid Waste Advisory Committee. Previously, he has served as the co-chair of the Big Ten Sustainability Group, President of the Pennsylvania Environmental Resource Consortium (PERC) and on the American Council on Renewable Energy's Higher Education Committee.
Antonio Garcia
Head of Audit and Risk Management, Bodycote
Antonio is a Certified Public Accountant and has worked in senior Audit, Risk, and Compliance roles at Amazon, Siemens, General Electric, Deloitte, and Andersen. He is a Sarbanes-Oxley Act (“SOX”) expert and has provided risk management and digital transformation advisory to multi-national companies across different industries, including e-Commerce, Logistics, Oil and Gas, Mining, Finance Institutions, Manufacturing, Energy and Telecommunications.
Suzanne Shelton
President and CEO, Shelton Group
Shelton Group is the nation’s leading marketing communications firm entirely focused in the ESG arena. Kathrin Winkler
Former Chief Sustainability Officer, EMC Corporation (now Dell EMC)
Kathrin currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), a non-profit advancing energy efficiency; Net Impact, an accelerator for change makers mobilizing new generations to use their careers to drive social and environmental change; and the Green Electronics Council (GEC), a non-profit founded to manage the EPEAT eco-label and drive toward more sustainable information technology. She is an editor-at-large for GreenBiz, writing about the ever- changing world of corporate sustainability, and a trained Climate Reality Leader and mentor.
