Written Health & Safety Programs for a Global Tech Company

A technology client requested that Antea Group develop corporate-level written health and safety programs that could be easily modified at the site level. The written programs were to be based on the existing global minimum health and safety requirements, previously developed for the client by Antea Group. The global minimum health and safety requirements established the minimum requirements for the client’s sites to ensure the health and safety of their employees related to specific topics.   

During the written program development project timeline, the client acquired a software company and requested Antea Group’s assistance in evaluating site-level compliance and existing programs and transitioning and/or developing site-specific programs to reflect the global minimum health and safety requirements. In addition to using the corporate-level written programs and the global minimum health and safety requirements as a baseline for compliance, the client intended to require their sites to complete and use compliance scorecards and use them as regulatory compliance guides when modifying the corporate-level programs to make them site-specific. 

Antea Group worked closely with the client to develop the corporate-level written programs, expanding on the content provided in the global minimum health and safety requirements documents, and creating tools, forms, and examples to streamline the process for each site in the modification and implementation of the programs where applicable. Each program included the required responsibilities and instructions for obtaining and maintaining compliance with program requirements. Templates and examples were attached to each program and included instructions for completion and context to assist the user in understanding the reasoning behind the documents. 

Following the completion of the written programs project scope, the client requested that Antea Group support the implementation of the written programs and associated documents at their sites in the United States. This support included assisting existing client sites and newly-acquired sites in the completion of compliance scorecards, gap analyses, global minimum health and safety requirements compliance evaluation, and the modification of corporate-level procedures at the site level to ensure the programs where tailored to each site and in compliance with applicable local and state regulatory requirements.
